The Liga Mexicana del Pacífico is the premier winter baseball league of Mexico, founded in 1945 and showcasing the Pacific coast's finest franchises. LMP champions represent Mexico at the Caribbean Series, where the nation has accumulated 10 titles across a diverse set of franchises — from Hermosillo and Culiacán to Mazatlán and Guadalajara. The 2027 Caribbean Series will be hosted in Hermosillo, Mexico, bringing the tournament home to one of the LMP's most iconic cities. The league runs October through January across eight Pacific-state franchises.
